Victoria University of Wellington has recently announced a series of postgraduate IP course offerings for 2018. These courses are accredited under the trans-Tasman patent attorney registration regime for the purpose of qualifying to become a registered patent attorney.

These courses are available on Victoria University’s postgraduate courses page and are comprised of the following:

• LAWS 551: New Zealand and Australian Intellectual Property Law
• LAWS 530: New Zealand and Australian Copyright and Designs Law
• LAWS 536: Trade Mark and Unfair Competition Law
• LAWS 537: Patent Law

Please note that enrolment applications for Victoria University’s 2018 courses and programmes are due by 20 January 2018.
