The Intellectual Property Office of New Zealand (IPONZ), along with their international colleagues from the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO), hosted the WIPO Roving Seminars in Auckland (13 March 2017) and Wellington (15 March 2017).
At the seminars, visiting delegates from WIPO presented a range of tips, best practices and new tools to help New Zealand businesses.
Mr Yoshiyuki Takagi, WIPO’s assistant director-general for the global infrastructure sector, said that it was a pleasure to once again partner with IPONZ. The seminars provided updates to Kiwi innovators and representatives on the latest developments in global IP services, he added.
IPONZ also gave presentations on its IP registration systems and world-leading online capabilities. These were recently ranked number one in the world by the World Trademark Review.
